M Diary: Hogan luxury sneakers
In the mid-80s Andrea Della Valle was captivated by the charm of New York women running to the office wearing a suit with sneakers that, once at work, they were promptly hiding under the desk to wear a pair of high heels. From this inspiration, he developed the idea of creating luxury sneakers with an elegant style, to be worn all day from morning to evening.
Over the years, many other designers followed the same intuition and the sneaker became a centerpiece of office outfits, stylish and comfortable, capable of giving a modern and contemporary twist to any look.
The creation of Hogan sneakers was the result of several months of research, involving the teamwork of more than 8 people and specific tests to improve fit and resistance of the material. One of the iconic pieces of fall-winter 2021/22 sneakers collection is called “Interactive”, proposed in camel colour with a contrasting lurex logo or in black suede with tone-on-tone sequins logo. Other models like Rebel, Slash, Hyperlight and Hyperactive have a more streetwear vibe and a sporty design characterised by strong and trendy colour contrasts.
In addition to the sneakers, Hogan collection includes different lace-up shoes, chelsea boots and also walking shoes: a must have of this year, realised in in brushed black leather with a contrasting yellow ocher sole, perfect for a walk in the mountains or for a bold city look.
