Save the Duck jackets
The Forest clothing company was founded in 1914 by Foresto Bargi, an expert tailor specialized in men’s jackets.
In 2011, after three entrepreneurial generations, his grandson Nicolas Bargi created Save the Duck brand, making the company known at international level, with a double-digit growth every year.
The respect for animals and their environment is the principal mission of Save the Duck, perfectly expressed by their logo representing a happy and carefree whistling duck.
The brand’s jackets are Animal Friendly, realized without using materials of animal origin, employing instead Japanese ultra fine nylon and synthetic wadding.
Plumtech® is the name of their innovative padding, made with an extremely performing technical fibre that replaces down feather in all its properties, ensuring the same softness and thermal insulation, but conferring greater lightness and minimum encumbrance.
In 2015 Save the Duck has joined the "Animal Free Fashion" project promoted by LAV, getting the highest level of ethical rating, while in 2016 they won the “Peta Innovation for Animals” award and signed a special partnership with WWF Italy.
Save the duck jackets are produced without the use of goose down, but equally warm, comfortable, breathable and lightweight.
